The USA International Harp Competition (USAIHC) Spring Concert features Gillian Benet Sella, principal harpist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, along with guest artists Alexander Kerr, concertmaster of the Dallas Symphony and McGill Professor of Violin at Indiana University, and Randolph Bowman, principal flutist of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. The concert is April 11 at 7 p.m. EDT at First United Church in Bloomington, Ind. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for students, available online or at the door.
The trio will perform favorites by Rameau, Ibert, and Berlioz, and introduce several lesser-known pieces by Amy Beach, Chevalier de Saint-Georges and Sebastian Currier.
