October 21, 2022

The USA International Harp Competition (USAIHC) Fall Concert features Emily Levin, bronze medalist of the 2013 USAIHC and principal harpist of the Dallas Symphony, on a program of music for harp, voice, and organ. The concert is Nov. 10 at 7 p.m. EST at First United Methodist Church in Bloomington, Ind. Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for students, available online or at the door.

Levin’s program introduces a new composition recently commissioned for her, alongside standards from the solo harp repertoire. Guest artists Catherine Compton (soprano) and Charles Prestinari (organ) will join Levin in duos for voice and harp and for harp and organ. The program includes music by Tailleferre, Brahms, Handel, Grandjany, Tournier, and Ippolito.
