The USA International Harp Competition (USAIHC) has appointed Francine (Fran) Marseille as its new executive director.
Marseille was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and was raised in California. She received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees from California State University Fullerton in communication: radio, television, and film.
According to a press release, Marseille specializes in public relations, marketing, sponsorships, event production, and business development. She has worked with entertainment companies such as Universal Music Group and Sony Music Entertainment and has managed the careers of several well-known music artists. She supports community philanthropic efforts and is an executive board member of Owensboro Dance Theatre and president of Oasis Women’s Shelter. She created and managed the Owensboro Music Business Expos in 2023 and 2024. Most recently, she acted as the executive director for Friday After 5, a nonprofit 16-week free summer music festival and street fair with five or more stages of music each week.
The USAIHC says it looks forward to everything Marseille brings to the organization.
