United Kingdom harpist and composer Ruth Lee has launched Kickstart Composing, a new online course for young composers ages 7–15. Lee, named one of the United Kingdom Harp Association’s Emerging Artists of 2020–2021, aims to help young musicians of any instrument start composing creatively. Kickstart Composing includes video demonstrations on the harp, as Lee explores harmony and melody through improvisation.
