The North London Festival of Music and the United Kingdom Harp Association have announced the 2024 United Kingdom Harp Competition. The competition is open to pedal and lever harpists of conservatoire standard or beyond, studying or residing in the United Kingdom or Ireland, up to age 30. Applications are due March 22.
The first round consists of two contrasting pieces, up to 15 minutes, and will be held on May 5. The final round consists of a short recital program of one to three pieces (different from the first round), up to 20 minutes, and will take place May 6. Prizes include cash awards and recital opportunities.
