The United Kingdom Harp Competition has announced the winners of its 2024 contest. Hebe Kan won first prize; Kan is a student of Skaila Kanga at Trinity College, Cambridge. Stien De Neef (Royal Birmingham Conservatoire) won second prize, and Katie Lo (Royal Academy of Music) won third prize. The Sioned Williams Harp Prize was awarded to Jimena Eisele Farag, a student at the Royal College of Music.
Competition prizes include cash and recitals at Salvi London and Benslow Music. The adjudicators were Lucy Wakeford and Rachel Wick. The competition is run and sponsored by the United Kingdom Harp Association.
