Hi there! I’m Shirley, and I’m a harpist & harp teacher who’s passionate about sharing the beauty of this magical instrument with the next generation of musicians!

I study under the incredible Susan Jolles, one of the last students of the legendary Marcel Grandjany. Susan truly embodies the elegance and artistry of the French playing, and I'm very excited to carry forward that beautiful legacy in my own playing and teaching. My goal is to pass down that same expressive, luminous French sound to each and every one of my students.

As a younger instructor, I bring a fresh and supportive energy to my lessons—I’m still constantly growing as a harpist myself, and I love learning alongside my students. Whether you're just starting out or looking to deepen your artistry, I aim to create a space where we can explore music together, build confidence, and develop a real connection

My lessons are all about joy, discovery, and (of course) harp technique! I’m super patient, detail-oriented, and I always tailor lessons to suit each student’s individual needs and learning style. Plus, I know what it’s like to be in your shoes—so I’m here for you every step of the way.
