Maggie Lovell holds a Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Performer Diploma (a graduate level degree focusing on performance), all in Harp Performance and all from the acclaimed Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. Maggie studied with world-renowned harpist Susann McDonald and was privileged to serve as Associate Instructor for the IU Harp department.

Maggie accepts students of all ages and levels for harp lessons. No musical background is required and both pedal and lever harpists are welcome. In her teaching, Maggie strives to make sure that the student always enjoys and looks forward to lessons, while still making sure that they are always progressing. Music theory lessons can also be incorporated into lessons, for those who are interested.
