Composer and harpist Pippa Reid-Foster will release her second album, Undercurrents, on Sept. 6. The album is available now for pre-order via Bandcamp in digital, CD, and vinyl formats. After Sept. 6, the singles and album will also be available on major streaming platforms, including Amazon, iTunes, and Spotify.
Reid-Foster says the 13-track album pairs minimalist compositions with the Scottish lever harp. “This album is a collection of musical soundscapes designed to evoke strong feelings, uplift the spirit, and provide moments of reflection within a hectic world,” Reid-Foster says.
Reid-Foster released the first single from the album on Aug. 9. According to a press release, the single “Turning Tides” depicts “the rhythm of the waves and the ebb and flow of life’s challenges.” The title track will be released as a single on Aug. 23.
