The National Arts Centre (NAC) Orchestra Mentorship Program in Ottawa, Canada, is open to harpists for the first time this year. Participants will rehearse and perform with the NAC Orchestra, led by Music Director Alexander Shelley, May 1–19. The program includes 20 hours of score reading, both in sections and with full orchestra, and 10 or more masterclasses and career skills workshops.

Canadian and international applicants are welcome. All participants will receive an honorarium, free accommodations, and a meal allowance. Travel subsidies will be available.
The application deadline is Feb. 6. Canadian harpist and JUNO Award winner Angela Schwarzkopf will serve as this year’s harp mentor.
