Another new piece where I was able to work closely with the composer:
Onur Dülger: Bai-Ulgan for solo harp, ensemble and live-electronics
This piece, compared to the “Sonatine für Harfe” by Andreas Wykydal, uses lots of effects (hairclips, bow hair, super balls,…). I couldn’t imagine how hard it would be and how often we would have to try to find the right effect for the desired sound.
The premiere took place in January 2015 at Radiokulturhaus Wien with the Webern Ensemble under the baton of Jean-Bernard Matter .
