The NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra in Hamburg has announced an upcoming audition for its next harp academy position, set to take place May 25. The position is for the 2024–2025 season, with the possibility of a one-year extension. Applications are due April 2.
The academy awards scholarships to 14 graduates every year to provide professional experience and mentorship alongside the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra’s musicians in preparation for an orchestral career. Anaëlle Tourret is the principal harpist of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra, led by Chief Conductor Alan Gilbert.
