Hi Everyone, This is the first time I have ever written a blog. Thank you, Kimberly, for reaching out to me. I am very excited about a wonderful score that I played on recently composed by John Debney. He is an amazing composer and it is always wonderful to play his heartfelt music. The film is a re-make of The Jungle Book. It is due to be released on April 15th. Watching the visuals on the screen as I was recording with a 105 piece orchestra, it looks like it will be terrific. The effects are amazing!!! We recorded on the iconic Barbra Streisand Scoring Stage which was initially the MGM stage on the MGM lot. Many years ago, Sony bought the MGM lot which is now known as Sony Studios. When the scoring stage was dedicated to Barbra, I was privileged to have been invited to the ceremony honoring her. It was a lovely afternoon for all. Well, that was fun writing my thoughts to you. I will definitely post more shortly. Looking forward to reading any of your comments. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask and I will reply as soon as possible. Have a great week!!!
