Mexico competition announces competitors

The Mexico International Harp Competition and Festival has announced competitors for its fifth event, which will take place Nov. 10–17 in Mexico City. The competition includes four divisions for harpists up to age 35 with prizes up to $2,000. Competitors in the 2017 event will come from Mexico, the United States, Canada, Italy, Russia, Croatia, Portugal, Colombia, Germany, Korea, and Switzerland. Chantal Mathieu will lead the jury, which also includes Julia Rovinsky, Jung Kwak, Mario Falcao, Mabel Rodríguez, Florence Sitruk, Marcela Méndez, Kayo Otake, and Alfredo Aguilar.
