Martine Géliot competition announces 2022 repertoire

The Martine Géliot International Harp Competition has announced its 2022 repertoire. The competition will take place Oct. 29–Nov. 1 near Paris in Fontainebleau-Avon, France. Open to harpists of all nationalities ages 22 years and younger, the competition is held every three years. The application deadline is Oct. 1.

Preliminary Round

  • ​Jean-Philippe Rameau, L’Egyptienne, transcribed for harp by Henriette Renié​
  • Elias Parish Alvars, Romance no. 10 in A-flat major
  • ​Jean-Michel Damase, Sicilienne variée

Final Round

  • ​Guillaume Connesson, Toccata
  • Marcel Tournier, Féerie (Prélude et danse)​
  • Free choice piece (max. duration 5 minutes)
