Lyon & Healy Awards in Los Angeles

Lyon & Healy is inviting harpists to participate in the Lyon & Healy Awards, Los Angeles, to be held June 14–15, 2013, prior to the American Harp Society Summer Institute. The event is open to all harpists under age 35 and takes place at the Colburn School of Music. Participants are required to play Impromptu for Harp (Faure, Gabriel), and either Le Rossignol arr. Renie (Lizst, Franz), orThe Lark (with Balakirev and Erdeli) (Glinka, Mikhail). Winners receive $2,500 in prizes, along with a performance opportunity at Lyon & Healy Hall.
