In case you haven’t heard, harp-maker Lyon & Healy is throwing a birthday party in June. The company turns 150 this year, and in addition to coming out with a new harp model (the Style 150, of course) they’ll be featuring a star-studded line up of harp concerts June 4–7 in their home town of Chicago.
Soloists include Judy Loman, Jana Bouskova, Marie-Pierre Langlamet, Sivan Magen, Dan Yu, Naoko Yoshino, Julie Smith, Angel Padilla, Remy van Kesteren, Anaïs Gaudemard, and Emmanuel Ceysson. Top students will perform in masterclasses for Susann McDonald and Sarah Bullen, and a jazz night will feature Park Stickney and Carol Robbins.
