The famed Cass Tech Harp and Vocal Ensemble celebrated its 90th Anniversary with a benefit concert on Friday, Nov. 18. The ensemble is now under the direction of Lydia Cleaver, who was featured in a radio interview with WDET’s Jerome Vaughn. “The legacy has been carried from one generation to the next by instructors who have been a part of the program,” says Cleaver, who began harp studies with former director Pat Terry Ross while attending Cass Tech.
