On Nov. 14, Belgian harpist Anneleen Lenaerts will give the world premiere of a new harp concerto written by her brother Wouter Lenaerts. The concerto, titled Maiestas, is dedicated to King Philippe of Belgium. The premiere is part of a gala concert honoring the 10th anniversary of King Philippe’s reign.
The Vienna Philharmonic principal harpist will premiere the concerto with the Royal Symphonic Band of the Belgian Guides at 8 p.m. on Nov. 14 at the Bozar Centre for Fine Arts in Brussels.
