Canadian harpist and composer Josh Layne says his Harpist in the Wild video series combines his love of music and the outdoors. Harpist in the Wild, Season 4, launches this December. New episodes are uploaded weekly on the series website and Layne’s YouTube channel.
Season 4 has a theme of travel, and includes music videos Layne filmed throughout his travels to the U.S., U.K., and Europe in 2022, as well as episodes from his hometown of Victoria, B.C., Canada. This season features music by Bach, Handel, Tournier, and more, played on a variety of harps, including a prototype carbon-fiber single-action pedal harp.
