On October 30th, 2016, harpists and harp music lovers gathered at the Royal Conservatory in Toronto to hear Judy Loman perform a solo recital in celebration of her 80th birthday. Still just as active and prolific as ever, Loman performed a program of music by Salzedo, Renie, and several Canadian composers which whom she has worked. This performance also doubled as a CD release of her latest album, Ariadne’s Legacy.

As a gift, the Toronto Chapter of the American Harp Society commissioned photographer Kristan Toczko to take the above picture of Loman with all of her past and current harp students who attended the performance.
