Israel harp contest announces 2021 repertoire

Lenka Petrovic of Serbia is the first prize winner of the 20th International Harp Contest in Israel

The International Harp Contest in Israel announced the repertoire for its 21st competition, scheduled to take place Oct. 4­–14, 2021, in Akko. The event, which is held every three years, hosted its 20th contest in October 2018, with Lenka Petrovic (Serbia) winning first prize, Joel von Lerber (Switzerland) taking home second, and native Israeli Marina Fradin receiving third prize. Founded by Aharon Zvi Propes in 1959, the contest is now directed by the principal harpist with the Israel Philharmonic, Julia Rovinsky.

First stage

  2. Choose one:

  3. A new Israeli piece commissioned by the contest to be announced by the beginning of 2020
