The 3rd International Harp Competition Elena Carfi has announced required repertoire for its online contest in 2025. Applications are due by Sept. 30. Applicants must submit video recordings between October 1–15. Results for the competition will be announced in November.
The contest was created in 2021 to honor Carfi’s memory as an influential Argentinian harp teacher in the second half of the 20th century. The competition takes place every two years and includes four categories for harpists of all nationalities born in 2006 or later. Each category’s required repertoire also includes a piece by an Argentine or Latin American composer (original or transcribed).
