The 2024 Harpe en Avesnois festival will take place March 19–23, as well as on May 18, Oct. 12, and Dec. 17. Featured performers on March 19–23 will include harpist Evelyn Huber, harpist Alexander Boldachev in duo with violinist Semion Gurevich, and “The Glow Within” with Nadia Birkenstock (Celtic harp) and Steve Hubback (percussion).
The festival weekend also includes masterclasses and workshops. Boldachev will lead masterclasses the morning and afternoon of March 23 and 24. In addition, Birkenstock will lead a Celtic harp workshop on Sunday, March 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Additional events throughout the year include:
- May 18: Cecile Corbel (Celtic harp) in a quintet
- Oct. 12: the show SMILE, performed by Isabelle Olivier (harp) and Tom Olivier-Beuf (accordion and piano)
- Dec. 17: “Silent Night” Christmas concert featuring Arianna Savall (voice and harp) with her ensemble
