Cruit Éireann, Harp Ireland (an Irish national organization supporting Irish harping) is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its strategic vision, including plans to expand programming and to establish the World Centre for Irish Harping in Dublin. Established in 2016, Cruit Éireann, Harp Ireland administers the annual Lá na Cruite/Harp Day, which had more than one hundred events in Ireland last year. The organization receives funding from The Arts Council, An Chomhairle Ealaíon, to host harp events throughout Ireland, creating more accessibility to the instrument for those who wish to learn it and bringing harp music to new audiences. According to its website, the goals of Cruit Éireann, Harp Ireland are to support harpers, harp organizations, and harp makers, and to promote all aspects of harping in Ireland, including its future sustainability.
