Description

Rich, mature tone in a compact, exceptionally portable lever harp. Built during William Reesʼs lifetime and acquired directly from the luthier by its sole and original owner at a harp fair in the early 2000s, this discontinued Concert Line Corlieu pairs peerless craftsmanship with precision gold-tone Truitt levers and a remarkably light footprint. Having settled under years of full string tension, the instrument possesses a mature, deep voice—offering the warm, resonant character typically associated with gut strings, while retaining the structural stability and easier maintenance of nylon. Accented with subtle Celtic knot ornamentation, it stands out as a distinctive example of a hard-to-find model. Spanning 33 strings from Low C to High G, the instrument features jeweled note markers (Red C / Blue F) and stands 52" H x 26" D x 14" W with a total weight of ~21.2 lbs. Well maintained by the owner in a smoke-free, climate-controlled setting, it remains in excellent structural and playing condition, showing only three minor cosmetic surface marks. The bold voice truly needs to be heard in person to be fully appreciated. Questions welcome; additional photos available upon request.
