This stunning Lyon & Healy Style 3 Gold pedal harp was built in 1934. The level of craftsmanship that went into this harp and its siblings from the same era is unsurpassed. It has a beautiful, resonant voice that truly sings when played. I would count it among the top ten easiest to play and best sounding harps I have personally played.
Cosmetically it is in excellent condition with minimal wear to to the gold and minor surface imperfections that can be expected from a harp that has lived a long life. Structurally it is in very good condition with some twist in the neck and clicking in the F and E lines when going into sharp. To be played at the highest professional level, it would benefit from having the action re-riveted, though it is fully playable as-is. The strings are in good condition and it was regulated in August 2026.
Lyon & Healy still makes the Style 3 Gold as a special instrument in their premium collection, and it retails for $113,900. Taking into account its age and condition, I am asking $34,000.
