The Ukrainian Glowing Harp Fest will hold its 2025 edition on August 25–27 in Brno, Czech Republic (a sister city to Kharkiv, Ukraine, where the Glowing Harp Fest was founded). Applications for participating in or auditing workshops and masterclasses are open until Aug. 10. This year’s edition will focus on harp chamber music, presenting contemporary works for harp duo, trio, and quartet composed by Laura Hynninen, Pavel Trojan, Tali Glaser, Valeriy Antonyuk, and Evgen Andreev.

Concerts will feature previous Glowing Harp Competition winners Serafina Jaffé (Germany) and Ligia Nowak (Poland). Among the guest artists are Elisabeth Plank (Austria), Vanda Šabaková (Czech Republic), Kateryna Holub (Ukraine), and Larysa Klievtsova (Ukraine).

Organized by harpists Veronika Lemishenko (Ukraine) and Ivana Švestková (Czech Republic), the festival will be hosted by the Brno Philharmonic in cooperation with the Brno Conservatory. For more information, visit the festival website.
