The Glowing Harp Competition has announced the repertoire for its fourth contest, which will take place online April 1–30, 2024. Led by Artistic Director Veronika Lemishenko, the contest is open to harpists of all nationalities and is divided into five categories by age. Applications must be submitted by April 1, 2024, and must include the following: a completed application form, a link to a video recording of repertoire for stage one, a current CV, a recommendation letter, two photos, copies of scores, a copy of the applicant’s passport or birth certificate, and the entry fee for the applicant’s category. Final results for all categories will be announced by April 30.
This year, part of the participants’ entry fees will be dedicated to the reconstruction of Kharkiv, where some of the previous competitions took place in person.
The competition jury includes five harpists: jury president Larysa Klievtsova (Ukraine) and jury members Claudia Lucia Lamanna (Italy), Mélanie Laurent (France), Katerina Muslienko (Ukraine), and Parker Ramsay (U.S.).
