The Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (FWSO) has announced an opening for the position of principal harp. This is a per-service position for the 2022-2023 season only.
Interested candidates must send a one-page resume to auditions@fwsymphony.org by April 7. A limited number of candidates will be invited to the audition on May 9.
Led by Music Director Designate Robert Spano, the FWSO performs a full season of concerts featuring guest artists and works by living composers. In addition, the orchestra performs and partners with the Texas Ballet Theater, Fort Worth Opera, The Cliburn, and Performing Arts Fort Worth. Each summer, the FWSO presents a series of family-friendly concerts at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden. The orchestra also hosts an annual Festival of Orchestras, providing an opportunity for non-professional orchestras across the state of Texas to perform in Bass Performance Hall.
