Floraleda Sacchi Joins Harp Column Music

0

We’ve just added nine publications by Italian harpist/arranger Floraleda Sacchi! Flora is well known for her transcriptions of traditional Italian art songs such as “11 Romanze for Harp and Voice” by Leoncavallo, and “Four Songs” by Puccini. She has also arranged Puccini’s “Crisantemi” for harp solo.

We’ve added two of Flora’s transcriptions for Harp and Oboe:

Concerto in D Minor, by Marcello
Sonoata in A Minor, by Telemann

Three of her familiar French works for harp and flute (or any treble instrument):

Pavane, by Faure
Pavane pour une infante defunte, by Ravel
Meditation, by Massenet

And finally, Flora’s arrangement of Handel’s familiar Passacaglia for harp with string accompaniment.

Enjoy this track, “Aprile”, from Floraleda’s CD “Casa Mia” with tenor Marco Berti. You can find it in her Leoncavallo 11 Romanze for Harp and Voice collection. Enjoy!
