Encuentro de Arpas Colombia announces online workshop and concert series

Encuentro de Arpas Colombia has announced the agenda for its online workshop and concert series, to be held Aug. 1–4, 2021. Harpists can apply by video submission to participate in a masterclass on orchestral excerpts with Magdalena Hoffmann, principal harpist of the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra. Colombian harpist Edmar Castañeda will give a workshop on the fusion of llanera and classical styles, Irish harpist and composer Anne-Marie O’Farrell will discuss the traditions of Irish repertoire, and Noa Kageyama of the Bulletproof Musician blog will offer advice for overcoming stage fright and lack of motivation.
