The Eastman School of Music of the University of Rochester is accepting applications for a part-time harp faculty position. Review of applications will begin Nov. 1 and will continue until the position is filled. The appointment will begin on July 1, 2024. Applicants must submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, links to three to six recordings of performances and/or teaching examples, and three confidential letters of recommendation.
Responsibilities include teaching applied-music majors (anticipated load of eight to 10 undergraduate and graduate students) and maintaining national/international standing as a performing artist and teacher. The new faculty member will also participate in recruitment, auditions, juries, and recitals.
