The Dutch Harp Festival (DHF) has announced the semifinalists of its 2024 World Harp Competition. After 25 contestants pitched their original program in the video round, the jury selected the following 11 harpists to advance to the semifinals:

- Katia Mestrovic (Australia)
- Océane Minder (Switzerland)
- Amy Nam (USA)
- Dafne Paris (Netherlands)
- Fiona Rutherford (United Kingdom)
- Ariel Sol Bertulfo Schwartz (USA)
- Alexander Thomas (United Kingdom)
- Emma Thomazeau (France)
The semifinals and finals will be held live in Utrecht on April 18–20, 2024, alongside the 2024 DHF. The international competition is open to harpists of all ages and nationalities, and welcomes repertoire from any genre. Contestants design and pitch a creative original program, which must be 45 minutes in length and must feature the applicant’s live performance on the harp. Applicants are free to choose all other aspects of the program, including repertoire, staging, instrumentation, and theme.
