Program summary

Students receive weekly one-hour private lessons and attend a weekly harp class focused on orchestral and ensemble repertoire, as well as harp maintenance. Harpists perform in orchestra, opera, chamber music, wind symphony, symphonic band and musical theater. The college of music is a college within a University where students can supplement their music studies with outside classes, interact with non-music majors, and pursue additional degrees and certifications.
