Program summary

The New World School of the Arts is a conservatory for high school and college students interested in careers in music, dance, theatre and the visual arts. With its world-renowned faculty, excellent facilities, and cutting-edge programs, talented students can earn a high school diploma, an Associate of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Fine Arts or Bachelor of Music degrees. Dr. Sherman also teaches music theory and harp at their Wolfson campus in downtown Miami.

The New World School of the Arts is an accredited performing arts high school and college for dance, music, theater and the visual arts. It is associated with Miami-Dade College and the University of Florida for their bachelor degree, but students continue their studies in vibrant downtown Miami. Dr. Sherman teaches music theory courses and harp and coaches harp students in the school’s excellent orchestra.
