Program summary

Redwood Music Teen Camp is a weeklong residential experience for musicians age 12-18. Teens learn and perform the folk music of Ireland, Scotland, and more in the beautiful redwoods above the Monterey Bay. This full-immersion music experience is for players of fiddle, violin, cello, bass, flute, harp, guitar, mandolin, and keyboards. Students practice and perform in instrument-specific groups, with the entire ensemble, and in traditional Irish sessions.

Teens sleep in large same-sex dormitory rooms, accompanied by a Teaching Assistant.

$1400 includes six nights lodging, meals, and tuition.

Additional info

Other activities include singing, Scottish dance, movie night, a barn dance, crafts, and a talent show/celebration at the end of the week. The final concert at the end of the week is stunningly good! Videos from past concerts are available on our website.
