Additional info

The Biccari Harp and Cultural Immersion Program is part of the larger Biccari Music Festivals, directed by Lucia Marone, featuring guest faculty and artists from Italy and the United States.
Morning rehearsals and workshops provide focused instruction for harp participants, while guests enjoy guided activities and local experiences during that time. The Clarinet Program also takes place this week, offering unique opportunities for harpists and clarinetists to collaborate and perform together. Two new works for harp and clarinet will be premiered at the final concert.

The week includes cultural tours to regional landmarks, cooking classes, and local product tastings. Participants stay in charming local bed & breakfasts or hotels, with meals featuring regional cuisine. Evenings are filled with concerts, community celebrations, and opportunities to connect with musicians and townspeople in an authentic and welcoming atmosphere.

The program fosters a non-competitive, supportive environment where everyone encourages one another. Whether you’re a student seeking artistic growth or a traveler looking for a meaningful cultural exchange, the Biccari Harp Program offers a transformative and heartwarming experience in the heart of Puglia.
