Alexander Boldachev has released a new album in collaboration with composer Bruce Healey, available now. The first five tracks on the album, titled Harp Stories, consist of Healey’s composition Harp Set. According to the program notes, the piece is intended as “an open-ended collection of pieces that are eclectic and programmatic in nature and utilize various traditional and ‘avant-garde’ techniques available to the contemporary harpist.” Harp Stories concludes with five works composed by Boldachev.
