Founded in 1896, the Bangor Symphony Orchestra has served Maine audiences for over 129 consecutive seasons. The Bangor Symphony Orchestra is currently led by Grammy Award-winning Music Director and Conductor Lucas Richman. Each season includes five Masterworks concerts, two Young People’s Concerts, and three performances of The Nutcracker with the Robinson Ballet, plus other special events. Contracted musicians with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra are paid on a per-service basis, including mileage. Double occupancy hotel rooms are provided as needed.
