The American Harp Foundation (AHF) has announced the 2023 winners of its Kids for Camp Scholarship and Kathy Bundock Moore Memorial Scholarship.

Joselyn Sky Goldman is the winner of the 2023 Kids for Camp Scholarship. The 14 year old is from Atascadero, California, and is a student of Penny Howk Beavers. Her $500 award will help her attend the Swiss Summer Academy with Alexander Boldachev in August.

Eliza Fichialos is the winner of the 2023 Kathy Bundock Moore Memorial Scholarship, a $2,000 award given to support one year of undergraduate music studies with a specialization in harp. The award is funded by Moore’s family and friends in honor of her 30 years of teaching as a harp instructor at the University of Northern Colorado and as a private harp teacher in Colorado. Fichialos says she is honored to receive the award and “hopes to extend Dr. Moore’s legacy of kindness and generosity by mentoring and guiding young individuals in their pursuit of music.” The 18 year old will soon begin her harp performance degree at the University of Toronto, studying with Judy Loman.
