The Historical Harp Society of Ireland’s autumn Acadamh na gCláirseach—Academy of Early Irish Harp will present three online courses, starting Oct. 14, suitable for players of any kind of harp from post-beginner to professional levels. The course topics include 18th-century harp music from Ireland, medieval European music, and tools for overcoming performance anxiety. The cost for each course is €130, but there is an early-bird discount of €99 for those who enroll before Oct. 1.
The courses will take place on Zoom on six Saturdays between Oct. 14 and Dec. 2. Video recordings of each class will be available, allowing students to learn at their own pace, both during and after the course.
