The 7th International Competition of the Slovenian Harp Association will take place April 23–26, 2026, at the Fran Korun Koželjski Music School in Velenje, Slovenia. According to a press release, the competition aims to promote musical culture, encourage young musicians, and foster exchange between harpists from different countries.
Participants will be divided into seven categories according to age, ranging from Category A (born in 2015 or after) to Category F (born in 1996 or after). Performers are required to present a program within their category’s given time limit, consisting of at least two pieces, one of which must be selected from the required repertoire list published on the competition website.
Applications are open until March 15. Reduced application fees are available for early registrations submitted by January 1. For more information, visit the competition website.
