The Italian Harp Association has announced the repertoire for its 14th International Harp Contest in Italy Suoni d’Arpa. The competition will take place Aug. 26–31, 2025, at the Fondazione Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale, in the medieval town of Saluzzo in the Piedmont region.
The contest is open to harpists of all nationalities and ages. It is divided into four categories, including a category for duo including harp and any instrument. Prizes—with a total value of 25,000 euros—include cash awards, vouchers for music and strings, and opportunities such as recording CDs and presenting concerts and masterclasses. Applications must be submitted by email by July 10, 2025.
During the contest, the International Harp Festival Suoni d’Arpa will present harp recitals with free admission, featuring performers such as Naoko Yoshino, Oksana Sidyagina, and Renee Yadav.
