I am interested in the Harpsicle line because they are so lightweight. The regular Fullsicle appears to have very loose tension on the low strings. The low strings on the Spec. Ed. Fullsicle are wound. Had anyone tried one, and what did you think?
I play a Merlin normally-am looking for a very very light harp to take out and about to play for fun and in the waiting room at the local hospital. The nearest harp store is a seven-hour drive, so I have to order from a distance.

I would love to play a Merlin normally but am playing a Troubadour I. Have tried a Harpsicle, not the Spec. Ed., and was underwhelmed. Neat idea, but I didn’t like the feel of it.

Update – I read about the Lewis Creek Jessie harp on this forum, went to the web site and listened to the sound samples. I’m totally amazed at the sound that comes with such a lightweight harp. I’m saving up for one of those now!
