Diane Schneider is a Conservatory-trained pianist and harpist who specializes in Adult Beginners, on ZOOM or at her home studio in Northern KY near Cincinnati. As a research doctor at Mayo Clinic in Minnesota, Diane pioneered a Vibration Medicine harp program there and at TriHealth/Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, OH. She has long worked with patients in Psychiatry. Her published Mayo Clinic study in the Journal of Pain and Symptom Management gives evidence that harp vibrations sequenced according to her protocol relieved numerous symptoms for suffering patients; she has special therapeutic recordings available, which are used at Mayo and by thousands of patients. Diane is a kind and encouraging harp teacher of adults with special needs, arthritis, neurological conditions and other requirements. She welcomes new students and is happy to discuss lessons further and provide more information. Diane guides her students gently to progress at their own pace, and can provide references from her current and previous students. Diane also performs and gives live lessons in Toronto area, Canada and St. Augustine, Florida--both cities where she previously lived. She has always been a feline rescuer and shares her lakeside home in Walton, Kentucky with 4 harp-loving cats--including Angus Mackenzie, who has his own harp that he has figured out how to pluck!
