Additional info

2026 will be the inaugural year for the Eastern Festival of Music. After the former Eastern Music Festival was dissolved by its board this Fall, a new group of dedicated leaders got together and formed a new festival. With all the same faculty and long-time Music Director Gerard Schwarz, this new festival will offer students the opportunity to play in two rotating orchestras, perform chamber music, take private lessons, and attend master classes, seminars, and workshops. Harpists will also have the opportunity to perform in the faculty orchestra.
