The Nebraska Harp Retreat is your destination for focused harp study away from normal life. Peacefully nestled in the grasslands of southeast Nebraska, harpists of all ages come to the Nebraska Harp Retreat to study with Julie Phillips to enrich their harp skills and enhance their musical ability. Participants receive 2 private lessons during the week in addition to daily harp classes, harp ensemble rehearsals, masterclasses and orchestra classes. At the end of the week, a final concert of solo and ensemble pieces is presented to the community.

Two-time medal winner in the USA International Harp Competition, Julie Phillips is the Principal Harpist for the San Diego Symphony and is praised by the American Record Guide for her “precise” and “luminous” playing. Known for her dedication and passion to students, she personally guides the structure and schedule of the retreat to best fit the attendees’ level and unique interests, ranging from solo or competition repertoire to orchestral excerpts.
