Patricia Terry-Ross taught harp, voice, piano, and harmony and directed the renowned Harp & Vocal Ensemble at Cass Technical High School in Detroit for 31 years. She is on the faculty of Wayne State University and is principal harpist of the Michigan Opera Theatre. She recorded with many Motown Record artists, including Marvin Gaye and The Temptations. The Kresge Foundation named Terry-Ross its 2017 Eminent Artist for her contributions to the artistic and cultural community and residents of Detroit.
