Thanks for the quick replies so far! This is my sixth year conducting Strings and first year with a Harp in my ensemble. The quartet sounds great with the full group (37 musicians) and I’d like to maximize the sound with our harpist. I’ll recommend the improvisation approach that you suggested, Sylvia.
